TV Asahi, formerly known as NET, is a major television network based in Roppongi, in the Minato ward of Tokyo, Japan. A share of the company's holdings is owned by Toei Co Ltd.
It is known by fans of Toei's works as the broadcast home of the Pretty Cure series and the Super Hero Time Sunday morning action block, which features the long running superhero shows Kamen Rider and Super Sentai created by Shotaro Ishinomori.
TV Asahi was the primary television broadcaster of Cyborg 009 up until The Cyborg Soldier, when the broadcasting rights to the franchise went to its rival network TV Tokyo.
