- This recap came about due to the fact that both Episodes 47 and 48 were behind on deadlines, which caused the former to initially air partially animated and with several still or repeated shots used as placeholders for the unfinished portions. The recap would air in Episode 48's originally intended place, as a way to showcase the finished sequences of 47. A revised version of episode 47 would later appear on the DVD release and be sourced for the dub.
- As with "Rise of the Demon" and the following episode, the final scene with the Pu'Awak sisters being shot was heavily censored in the dubbed version, with the footage cutting to the 00 teams' reactions, as well as 004 screaming Vena's name.
